Amir’s La Voute Brings Dapper Gents to Vintage by Misty

Ever have trouble finding the perfect gift for the man in your life? Forget looking for the perfect one-of-a-kind, best-find-ever vintage gift, though these are the things of our vintage-obsessed dreams. Until recently, of course, when this became a reality, when Phoenix’s greatest vintage treasure trove Vintage By Misty teamed with Amir Arsalan Saebi to bring the Valley “Amir’s La Voûte,” a collection of gentlemen’s luxury and vintage goods. The devastatingly dapper corner of Vintage By Misty is complete with fine, elegant vintage men’s clothing, accessories, funky oddities and you guessed it, one-of-a-kind gifts for ourselves favorite gents. MIM Rocks Fashion

Jump into spring style with Phoenix Fashion Week’s “MIM Rocks Fashion” spring showcase at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 1. hoenix Fashion Week will again team with the Musical Instrument Museum to celebrate how art and music influences street style and fashion trends all over the world. Starting at 6 p.m., guests will be treated to trendy fashions and classic designer styles followed by an interactive fashion show and an after- party at Narcisse Champagne and Tea Lounge. The fashion show will highlight looks from Misty Guerriero (owner of Valley vintage heaven and DLT fav Vintage By Misty), which was styled by Arizona Midday fashion and beauty expert Ginger Murphy; emerging Mexican-American designer Alma Primero as styled by fashion guru Fawn Cheng of Good Morning Arizona; men’s fashion from Bounty Hunter as styled by Right Hand Man Image Consulting (RHMStyle) founder Brian J. Swan, and French designer Caroline Monick, who traveled all the way from France to launch her elegant, spirited Spring 2012 collection at the event. Personal stylist Jill Laine, who gives regular style segments on Fox 10 and ABC 15’s Sonoran Living, styled Monick’s presentation. Set to the sounds of DJ Q, the show will also include accessories inspired by both the music and cultural details of the brand’s home country. While we know it will probably take you till Thursday afternoon to figure out what to wear (same goes for us!) you’ll want to get there early: the first one hundred attendees will receive generous swag bags.
