An armed man wearing a fake nose and mustache robbed a bank in the West Valley yesterday, and police are asking for the public’s help in finding him. According to AZ Central, the robber walked into the Parkway Bank on west Thunderbird Rd. at around 4 pm and pointed a handgun at the teller. He then handed over a bag and told the employee to “Hurry up” and fill it with cash, before fleeing the bank and jumping into a waiting white Toyota car driven by an unidentified accomplice. Both suspects were last seen racing east on Thunderbird Road.
The armed man, who made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, was wearing a “blue work shirt, a long-sleeve white undershirt, a knit cap, glasses and a fake nose and mustache.” Hmm, not to make light of a dangerous situation, but we have some suggestions of some people the Phoenix PD might want to check out.
