Grab a frosty mint julep and don your floppiest, frilliest hat because it’s Weekend Guide time. But first we’d like to say happy Mother’s Day to all of you lovely ladies out there. Yes, this Saturday is the 137th annual Run for the Roses, aka the Kentucky Derby. Live racing kicks off at 11:30 am, and admission starts at only $5 (although we suggest upgrading to the air-conditioned Clubhouse or Turf Club levels featuring all-you-can-eat buffets.)
