With a name like that, you may be thinking that this is a fire station or something of the sort. You are mistaken, friend. Scottsdale Station is the newest restaurant to call the Valley home. With Scottsdale in the name, it’s pretty obvious where the new restaurant will be located. Owned by longtime restaurateurs, Robert and Linda Gabrick, the restaurant will open its doors for dinner on Friday, Nov. 29 and will offer dinner and Sunday brunch throughout the weekend. Lunch will start being served on Monday, Dec. 2. The Gabricks are known for their other stations, Carefree Station — which unfortunately closed in September, and Prescott Station. They decided to bring their culinary chops to Scottsdale and we’re pretty excited. Some dishes include Sea Bass NO-Ka-Oi, pan seared sea bass, served with coconut forbidden black rice, asparagus chop sticks and a roasted-garlic chile butter. The Steak Bleu Diablo, a Niman Ranch flatiron steak paired with a masa relleno filled with chilies, bacon, tomatoes and scallions, topped with Point Reyes bleu cheese-tequila butter sauce. Be sure to check out the new restaurant this weekend.
