We mentioned it earlier this month, but the new iPad Mini has been officially announced yesterday at an Apple event. Now compared to the $500 price tag on the full size iPad, you may think the Mini’s price of $330 is inexpensive. We all know that Apple products dominate the market and their prices tend to be high.

The Mini is supposed to be a competitor for the Amazon Kindle Fire HD, Google Nexus, and the new Microsoft Surface. The thing is though, all of those are priced around $200-$250. What gives, Apple? Here’s an interesting article from Gizmodo about who thinks the Mini is cheap. It’s a funny read.

All that said, we still want one, but maybe we’ll wait until the price drops down.
