Lemons to Lemonade

October 9, 2012 | 12:00 PM | News | By Maxfield Barker

When working in a restaurant, having an unsatisfactory review made about your establishment can be a blow to your ego. Ncounter on Mill Ave is reacting in the opposite way. Recently, the Phoenix New Times gave them a bad review, citing mediocrity as their biggest fault. Instead of wallowing in shame, do you know how Ncounter responded? It’s pretty cool.

Until Oct. 10, if you bring in a copy of the article when you get food, the restaurant will supply you with a free lemonade. Yes, that’s right. Bring in their poor review and get something for free. Talk about life giving you lemons.

We haven’t had Ncounter, so we couldn’t tell you if it were mediocre or not. But, it does seem that this place has a sense of humor and we would gladly support any business that does so. If you’re free today or tomorrow, head over to Ncounter on Mill and grab a lemonade on the house.
