New Music Monday: No Doubt

October 8, 2012 | 10:30 AM | Sound | By Maxfield Barker

Time for a ’90s throwback. It’s been 11 years since No Doubt has released a studio album and it’s been almost 20 years since the release of their spectacular Tragic Kingdom (that brought us hits like Just A Girl and Don’t Speak.) Released on September 21, No Doubt brings us Push and Shove. We have to say, we really enjoy the title track. It’s part back to their roots (ska remnants) with a contemporary twist that features synths. It’s catchy, fun, and really quite good. We don’t know about the whole album yet, but so far, we recommend Push and Shove. Take a listen to the title track.
