The Weekender: The Oaxaca Honey Cocktail

This edition of The Weekender is going to sweeten up your day. Apparently, it is National Honey Month. This weekend, the Honey Festival kicks off at The Boulders. So, courtesy of the Spotted Donkey Cantina in North Scottsdale, we’re bringing you this delicious Oaxaca Honey Cocktail. Too lazy to make your own? Don’t worry, Spotted Donkey will be serving them.

Ingredients

1 1/2oz Herradura Double Barrel Reposado 1/2oz La Pinta Pomegrante Tequila

1/4oz POM Juice

1oz Orange Scented Arizona Honey Syrup 3 dashes of Orange Bitters

Preparation 

Served over Crushed Ice/ Sugared Rim

Orange Scented Arizona Honey Syrup:

1 cup of Arizona Desert Bloom Honey, 2 Cups Water, 1/2 Cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice, Heat to Boil, Reduced 1/3
