Our new favorite spot for beer just got better with its Octoberfest celebration. Introducing the first annual WOBtoberfest! On October 6, 8 bands, 600 beers, 4,000 people, and one chance for a trip to Munich, Germany all come together for a night you’ll never forget.

World Of Beer on Mill Ave will be shutting down part of the block for their WOBtoberfest event from 11 am to 2 am on October 6.

World of Beer’s first Annual Beer and Music Fest will also feature a beer garden showcasing German and Pumpkin Beer on tap as well as Short Leash Hot Dogs. Eight Valley bands will playing all day for their chance to win $5,000 in the Battle of the Bands competition.

So what’s the best part? Well, if you’ve ever wanted to go to Germany, this could be your chance. Everyone attending will have the opportunity to win a trip for two to Munich, which includes airfare and hotel for Oktoberfest in 2013.

Also, WOBtoberfest will benefit the 501c3 organization “Beauty of a Bonzer” which raises money for local Arizona charities such as Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center and JDRF Desert Southwest Chapter (they’re our new favorite bar for more than just the beer.)
