Wine Down, Break Bread & Meet the Cheesemaker

September 17, 2012 | 3:00 PM | Eat & Drink | By Maxfield Barker

Wine, bread, and cheese, what else could you want? Edible Exchange, a local food hub whose mission is to connect communities to local food through education and barter, is partnering with The Herb Box this month during their monthly “Culture Club” event.

Giving you a chance to meet the cheesemaker, the event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wed., Sept. 26 at The Herb Box at Southbridge in Old Town Scottsdale.

Meet Farmer Casey from Superstition Farm and watch his cheese making demonstration. You’ll also be able to hear a short presentation from Lori Baker, founder of Edible Exchange. While there, you can purchase The Herb Box’s signature delicacies and wine pairing and artisan bread from Mediterra Bake House.

And it’s free to the public. Again, we ask, what else could you want?
