Slide on into the driver’s seat of some of the newest and coolest vehicles to hit the market. Downtown Phoenix is booming with attraction and events at the upcoming Motor Trend Auto Show adds to all the city has to offer. Coming to the Phoenix Convention Center this November, the exhibit will be showcasing some of the latest models from companies like Chevrolet, Audi, Fiat and Maserati, making it an auto event you won’t want to miss. From Freeway Chevrolet to dealerships that sell a lineup of Jaguars and a flurry of Fords, you may be able the find the same cool vehicles on display. here’s what to look for at the upcoming event:

Updated classics

When you hear the word Camaro one word comes to mind: Classic. This vehicular staple in muscle cars has proven itself over the years as being the beacon of American ingenuity. If you thought the Camaro was bad when it first hit the streets, just wait until you see what the modern versions bring to the blacktop. Highlights of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Coupe include electrically assisted steering and the ability to hit 60 mph in four seconds flat.

If you check out 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE, you’ll be blown away by its a six-speed manual transmission and a specially designed understeer. Both matter for precise handling and super speed, making your trips to the grocery store a little quicker.

Luxury stuff

If luxury vehicles are more your type, you’ll be blown away at the auto show’s lineup of new Jaguars. Newer models feature a 510 hp, supercharged 5-liter V8 engine under the hood, and a veritable laundry list of luxury features throughout. Advanced features in certain models include heated exterior mirrors, front and rear parking aids, rain-sensing windshield wipers and windshield wipers on the headlights.

More luxury comes in the form of interior mood lighting, ventilated front seats that heat up or help you cool down, and a killer media system that includes HD radio, MP3 compatibility and a navigation system with DVD mapping. Getting around Phoenix and checking out a Diamondbacks game or an art exhibit just got a little more stylish. While you’re exploring, Flagstaff has some great local diners and is even the location for the Cardinals training camp!

Tough stuff

Just because a vehicle is tough doesn’t mean it has to be mundane. Ford proves that with its latest Ford F-150 trucks, with awesome luxury features that will change the way you look at pickup trucks. The new line of Fords are not at all like the strictly utilitarian trucks of the past.

Features include a Supercrew back seat, in-cab cargo space, and a personal safety system with driver seat positioning sensor, seat belt pretensioners, and dual-stage front airbags. Advanced sound engineering makes the interior whisper-quiet and free of annoying vibrations, thanks to the door seals, stiff body and frame, and a noise-absorbing headliner.

Even if you don’t have a particular make, model or vehicle type in mind, you and your family can have a blast checking out cars of the future—right here in the present. You can also take advantage of military discounts, senior discounts, and discounts for kids. Attend with your clan on Family Day Nov. 25 and all kids under age 12 enter free. Take a cruise around the city following the show, and you may just have to stop off at a dealership for that brand new Camaro, Jaguar or luxury Ford truck.
