The Phoenician Just Got A Little Classier

September 5, 2012 | 3:00 PM | Eat & Drink | By Maxfield Barker

The Phoenician, the go-to place for elegance, has just names Lee Hillson executive sous chef. Assisting in overseeing nine kitchens, a staff of over 150, and multiple restaurants, Hillson will have his hands full, but that’s nothing for this former Iron Chef star.

Coming from the renowned T. Cook’s at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Hillson was previously the exec chef. He gained national acclaim for his time on the hit Food Network show, which pitted him against the great Iron Chef Cat Cora.

A truly unique master of the culinary arts, Hillson was asked to create a First Class menu for British Airways, specifically for the flights between Phoenix and London.

Yeah, he’ll do just fine at The Phoenician.
