Sunday September, 2, internationally acclaimed DJ Max Vangeli will be spinning all day long. Born and raised in Eastern Europe, Vangeli moved to San Francisco in his early teens. He gained his first recognition for his music in 2008 when BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong played his first single, “Crazed,” which ultimately became a huge success. He is 2010 BRIT Critic’s Choice Award winner for his debut album “Listen”, which reached the No. 1 spot on the UK Billboard Top 100. That same year MTV named Vangeli “One of the most promising artists for 2011” and DJ Mag labeled him as one of the “Top 5 DJ’s to watch.”
