The Hotel Valley Ho is one of our favorite spots in the Valley. Great rooms, awesome restaurants, and an excellent pool, Valley Ho has it all. It’s almost September and that means that stores around town are getting ready to put up holiday stuff. Yeah, we know it’s a little excessive to see Thanksgiving decorations when it’s still 100+ degrees outside, that’s just the way it goes. But we have some holiday news that you can appreciate. Just released is all the fun things going on at the Valley Ho this season. Let’s take a look.

 Haunted Hotel Ball | Saturday, October 27

 The fourth annual Haunted Hotel Ball returns to Hotel Valley Ho on Saturday, October 27, from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The event will take place in the hotel’s two ballrooms and connecting courtyard. DJs will keep the dance floor moving with tunes throughout the evening. The evening is produced by Chicago-based Global Adrenaline. Advanced tickets are recommended, as the event has sold out every year (prices will be announced soon). All attendees must be at least 21 years old. Hotel Valley Ho will be offering a Haunted Ball Rate for rooms Thursday through Monday, starting at $209 nightly. More information will be available at www.HauntedHotelBall.com and 312.226.6990.

Thanksgiving Eve Party | Wednesday, November 21

The Thanksgiving Eve Party at ZuZu will feature live music in the lounge from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. Cocktail and beer specials will also be available.

Thanksgiving Dinner | Thursday, November 22

ZuZu will offer the regular dinner menu along with some Thanksgiving specials, from noon until 9:00 p.m.

Christmas Eve | Monday, December 24

ZuZu will offer the regular menus along with some holiday specials. Breakfast will be served from 6:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Christmas Day | Tuesday, December 25

ZuZu will serve several Christmas specials along with the regular menus. Diners can also build their own drink at the Bloody Mary Bar during brunch. Breakfast is served from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., brunch from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and dinner from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

New Year’s Eve | Monday, December 31

This year’s event will be a retro-themed bash; event attendees are encouraged to dress the part. DJ Mr. P-Body will spin tunes in the lobby from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. A special dinner with two seatings will kick off with a Belvedere Vodka reception in the lounge, followed by a four-course meal paired with Veuve Clicquot and Moet & Chandon Champagnes as well as Belvedere Vodka. There’ll also be a Champagne toast at midnight atop the hotel’s seven-story tower. A special room rate will be available for those who reserve a seat at dinner. The 6:30 p.m. dinner seating is $100; the 9:30 p.m. seating is $135 (tax and gratuity not included).

New Year’s Day | Tuesday, January 1
