The Foothills Food Bank and Resource Center needs a permanent home. That’s why on September 27 the food bank will host a pasta buffet, jazz music and a comedy show featuring funny man Mark Cordes. Cordes, known as the “spouse whisperer,” will entertain guests with the do’s and don’ts of relationships.

Taking place at the Carefree Resort Opera house and Kachina courtyard, the evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with a silent auction. Fifty dollars is what it’ll cost to help out 8,000 families in the Valley, half of which live in Cave Creek and Carefree. Tickets can purchased on the Foothills Food Bank and Resource Center website or at the food bank itself.

Tickets are on sale now, so make a donation and get some laughs because, as their slogan says, “Everyone needs a helping hand sometimes.”
