We’ve all heard the stories about Google’s headquarters in California where they have nap pods, ping pong tables, all you can eat buffets and a bevy of other distractions that keep Google employees occupied during the work day (with something other than work), and it all sounds so awesome. While we can’t promise that any other job in the universe would ever offer those kind of amenities, Scottsdale based Yelp does come in a close second with their relaxation room. The newly expanded offices now come complete with a room dedicated entirely to “resting your eyes” and includes massage chairs, flameless candles and zen music. Not your scene? Yelp employees can also blow off steam in the company’s game rooms, chow down in a stocked kitchen, seal some deals in themed meeting rooms, dance around to loud tunes and, get this, tap some kegs in the office. Now that is a work environment one could get used to. The point of all this is that Yelp is expanding quickly and the local company is looking for new staff to keep up with their growing work load.
