There’s something about summer that has Arizonans craving change. It could be the temperatures, it could be allure of an ocean (however far away) or it could just be the exceptional measures Valley restaurants take to accommodate that summer state of mind.
Like many Valley restaurants, Seasons 52 has introduced a new summer menu that features seasonal offerings in celebration of those of us who stick around for the not-so-tourist season.
Known for its fresh grill and wine bar, Seasons 52 changes its menu four times a year to capture the flavors of the season.
“… the summer menu features a variety of grilled vegetables, seafood and poultry that depict the essence of the season,” said Cliff Pleau, Senior Director of Culinary at Seasons 52.
The summer menu items include:
Piedmontese All-Natural Bone-In Strip Steak – An 11-ounce “steakhouse style” strip steak in a red wine reduction and cremini mushrooms with grilled jumbo asparagus and fingerling potatoes
Organic Tomatoes with Warm Crusted Mozzarella – organic tomatoes and warm-crusted Mozzarella, micro greens, basil, pesto vinaigrette
Chilled Lobster & Shrimp Spring Rolls – cool salsa verde, aromatic lemongrass, sweet-hot red chili
Grilled Jumbo Shrimp Cavatappi Pasta – caramelized garlic, organic tomatoes, fresh broccoli
Summer Vegetarian Tasting – “grains of life,” soft taco, chili relleno, vegetables, cedar roasted tofu, mango chutney
Berry Cheesecake Mini Indulgence – cheesecake, fresh blueberries, raspberry sauce and graham cracker crumbs
Jam Jar Moscato – a balanced celebration of peach, apricot, lychees and orange blossom
So, next time your out for a bite or s drink, ask for the seasonal specials and see what delicious summer surprises your favorite restaurants have in store for you.
