Celebrity Fight Night, one of the nation’s most significant charity events, announced today that Larry Fitzgerald, Starkey Labs CEO and founder William Austin, and philanthropists and founders of Discount Tire Diane and Bruce Halle will be honored at Celebrity Fight Night XVIII on Saturday, March 24 at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix.
“Larry Fitzgerald, William Austin and the Halle’s have achieved extraordinary accomplishments and have been instrumental in giving back to charity,” said Jimmy Walker, founder and chairman of Fight Night and a close friend of Ali. “We’re looking forward to recognizing their success and dedication at Celebrity Fight Night.”
Grammy Award-winning leading lady of country music Reba McEntire, who is returning for her seventh consecutive year as emcee, will host black-tie event, which will also celebrate Muhammad Ali’s 70th birthday. The evening will begin with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner, a live auction and entertainment. Rascal Flatts will perform along with actor and singer John Corbett, Miley Cyrus, Rita Wilson, Lionel Richie, Sinbad and Jackie Evancho, under the direction of David Foster who is returning for his 13th consecutive year as the evening’s Musical Director.
