We’ve given you so many Valentine’s Day ideas this year from where to buy Sweets for your Sweet, our Valentine’s Dining Roundup, ordering those fun love gifts and where to order flowers, you’re sure to make your Valentine’s day. But with these dummy-proof tips for the perfect, romantic breakfast in bed from US Egg, we know you’ll score big -  maybe even skipping the breakfast and heading straight for dessert this year.

Timing is Important:
Breakfast in bed isn’t much fun if you don’t have time to leisurely enjoy it. So if you decide to serve breakfast in bed, make sure they have plenty of time to their breakfast and savor the experience.

Presentation is Everything:
You can make breakfast in bed a truly memorable event for your loved one by putting a little extra effort into the presentation. Add some freshly cut flowers in a vase, use nice plates and silverware and a cloth napkin to put the perfect finishing touches on the breakfast tray. Don’t forget the card! Tuck it beneath the plate and for an added touch, sprinkle confetti or flower petals around the serving tray, as well.

Make it a Surprise:
One of the key ingredients of a successful breakfast in bed is to make it a surprise for the intended recipient. Try to make some preparations, such as chopping ingredients or laying out the bed tray the night before. This will help keep noise to a minimum in the morning and minimize the chances of waking up the recipient while you are working.

Be Practical:
Eating breakfast in bed requires balance and a steady tray. A bed tray is preferable, but if you don’t have one you can also use a serving platter, television tray, or a large cutting board. To dress it up, use a decorative placemat or cloth napkin. Also be sure to put any items that might spill, such as pancake syrup, in a container with a lid.
