Coming back to the Valley Feb. 11, is the Spartan Race Challenge taking place at Rawhide in Chandler. Thousands of mud-covered participants will dart from one obstacle to the next, throwing spears and jumping fire. Forget Ironman, this is the true test of strength and endurance.

Taking place near the Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino in Chandler, the obstacle course challenges individual’s resilience, strength, stamina, quick decision making skills, and ability to laugh in the face of adversity, while we watch from the sidelines.

This eight mile, 20 obstacle course race has gained National attention and has grown in popularity as it travels to a new state every 2-3 weeks and challenges people who train, prepare, and live for these obstacle races. The top three male and female competitors at the race will qualify for free entry into the Spartan Death Race. Is this madness? No, this is SPARTA.
