You can be a hero for the child of a single mom this holiday season by being a sponsor in the Holiday For Heroes program for the Helping Hands for Single Moms organization, a group that helps low income single moms earn a college degree and financial independence.
After registering, shop from their wishlist, then join Helping Hands Saturday, December 17 at 9:00 a.m. for the gift wrap event at ASU West campus in Glendale. You bring the un-wrapped gifts, they’ll bring the supplies and the mom! Together, with that mom, you’ll wrap gifts for the children.
