We love our wine. We love to travel. And this past summer, we fell in love with the beautiful, quaint wine country town of Healdsburg, California.
That’s why we have to invite you jet-setting, Pinot Noir lovers to head for the Healdsburg next weekend for the 8th Annual “Pinot On the River” event on Sunday, October 23rd. Over 80 wineries with their limited-production West Coast Pinot Noirs plus local artisan cheesemakers will take over the Healdsburg Plaza Town Square for an all-day tasting party. For a list of wineries, click here. VIP tickets are $85 and general admission is $75 and can be purchased here.
Can’t make the Pinot fest date, mark your calendars and book your flight (may we suggest to Sacramento and road-trip it from there) for the “Heart of Healdsburg“ Celebration, November 11-13. Local wino’s will be honoring the beautiful downtown Hotel Healdsburg and Dry Creek Kitchen’s 10-year anniversary, with a cocktail reception followed by a gala dinner by chefs Charlie Palmer and Dustin Valette of Dry Creek Kitchen. The cocktail reception kicks-off Friday, November 11 at 5:00 p.m and tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased here. The gala dinner follows at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $180 per person and reservations can be made by calling 800-889-7199.
Event organizers say this about the dinner gala, “Paired with a selection of fines wines from Charlie Palmer’s longstanding winery friends and partners including Rafanelli, Capture, Williams Seylem, Martinelli Winery and More. We are pleased to have many of these winemakers presenting their wines at dinner to celebrate the close of another harvest.”
The Hotel Healdsburg is offering a limited number of 2-night weekend packages starting $1150 for a deluxe king room, including tickets to the cocktail reception, dinner gala and “Behind the Scenes” adventure tickets to a Farmer’s Market tour, Dry Creek Kitchen cooking demo, Quivira Winery – Winemaker for a day and more.
