The Arizona Republic reporting this week that Chris Bianco of the famed Phoenix Pizzeria Bianco and hipster heaven Pane Bianco will be opening a pasta restaurant at the old Town & Country shopping center in Phoenix. Writer Howard Seftel reports:
First, he conquered the pizza world with Pizzeria Bianco. Then he conquered the sandwich world with Pane Bianco. Now James Beard Award-winner Chris Bianco is ready for his next challenge: pasta.
Come January, Bianco will be opening a trattoria at the Town & Country shopping center, at 20th Street and Camelback Road in Phoenix, in the storefront that formerly housed Spasso.
