What is Strep Throat?

Watson, the super computer debuting last year on Jeopardy, may be taking up residence in doctor’s offices and hospitals nationwide. WellPoint, the brains behind the “computerized guidance” concept in a medical setting, is teaming up with the brains behind Watson’s brain, IBM Computers to create the technology that will “help doctors with diagnoses and treatment suggestions.”

Before you read CafeMom’s rant on the rest of this story, tell us, would you be okay with Watson giving you medical advice or diagnosing your strep throat instead of a warm-blooded nurse or doctor?
