Office Obsessions

With all the last minute fun summer to-do’s before the (school) work piles on, don’t forget to gear up with some trendy school and office supplies. Yes, you’re going to have to stock up on paper, pens, and notebooks, but who said everything you purchase for school has to be as boring as that monotone teacher you fall asleep to every lecture or reading your emails? Well good news, it doesn’t have to be that way. With these fun must-haves, school/work won’t be so bland and boring. Our picks after the jump.

So obviously, you’re going to need some notebooks, so have fun with them. Yes, composition notebooks now offer a multitude of fun colors and patterns, but TopShop is offering a line of Famous Faces notebook covers. From Micheal Jackson to Audrey Hepburn, a friendly four-legged animal offers a unique portrayal of some famous faces. But don’t worry, they are pet allergy friendly as they’re not as hairy as they look.

To go along with some fun notebooks, writing utensils are a must. If you’re a classic pencil fan, go high-fashion with some Alexander McQueen pencils inspired by his 2010 Spring/Summer collection. You will literally have the run-way in the palm of your hands. But sadly, they do come with a hefty price of $50 for a pack of 12, but come on, they’re another fabulous McQueen tribute item. However, if you aren’t ready to break the bank, another fun option are The Seven Year Pen’s from Seltzer. From feathers to mustaches, these funky ink pens come in many colors with a variety of mini pictures on them with fun options for all. Lastly, and probably most importantly, you will need a highlighter for helping you remember vital bits of information. So go ahead and mark up those insanely expensive texts with fun highlights from Poppin that come in variety pack of four. Not to mention, for those color coding obsessed, Poppin is a great source for anything office related, in any color imaginable.

However, if highlighters aren’t your favorite, try some Ninja Page Flags to mark important pages either in your notes or in your textbook. Available at Sorting With Style, these playful sticky page reminders are fun to look at when your book is closed as each “ninja” slyly pops out ready to throw some information your way when needed. Also from Sorting With Style, are some fun paper clips to also either mark pages or keep important papers together. Appropriately titled “Man Clips” do all the heavy separating work for you.

Okay, so as we all hate admitting that we make mistakes, we sure can do our best and erase them with some giant animal erasers from Jonathan Adler. Whether it’s blue whales, pink poodles, green turtles or orange elephants, these erasers can help take away and lead mistakes.

With all these paper, pens, pencils, erasers and such, it’s time to get techy with some fun USB flash drives. As jump drives seem to come in all shapes, sizes, and interesting imitations, keep it classic with some good old Lego’s. From Seltzer Studios, green or pink USB’s are a perfect way to stay up to date in the technology world with an old school vibe, perfect for all.

Finally, to go along with the back to school season are some dreadfully wicked temperatures. So, as if it wasn’t important enough to stay hydrated when in the valley of sun, Camelbak offers some great on the go water bottles. The new Groove bottles offer a filter in the straw that filters as you sip, perfect for those dreadful public water fountain refills. The bottles come in either BPA-free plastic or stainless steel. Whichever you prefer, Camelbak offers an easy way to stay hydrated on the go when your busy soaking up all that educational knowledge.
