Even though the fatties here at DLT and even food blogger EricEatsOut love to stop by Taco Bell on the way home, we know the food is packed with carbs and fats that are contributing to those stubborn love-handles. But what if you had…options? Opening in December, a healthy twist on take-out, My Fit Foods is coming to The Shops at Gainey Village in Scottsdale. The restaurant, which currently has 20 locations in Texas, will offer 45 affordable meals that aren’t found on the average fast-food menu like atlantic baked salmon and ground turkey tacos. Complete with a nutritionist on site, meals will be prepared with fresh ingredients and no preservatives. Meals will cost between $4-$11. Could this be the start of a slimmer America? We hope so.
