Get your party pants on, Arizona, because MLB All-Star Week is up to bat. While all the big names in baseball work on their batting averages for the super-game, you can work on where to go see the heavy hitters in action with our All-Star Round-Up.
Official Events
Start the weekend off with the MLB All-Star FanFest at Phoenix Convention Center. The event goes from the 8th until the 12th, but you can get your tickets now $5 off the regular price. Meet your favorite players and mingle with thousands of fans at this family friendly event.
Taco Bell All-Star Sunday at Chase Field featuring the Legends and Celebrity Soft Ball Game and the XM All-Star Futures game. This is a great way to check out baseball’s biggest names playing with some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities.
State Farm Home Run Derby at Chase Field. Another long standing tradition for the All-Star weekend and now it’s just a light rail ride away.
MLB All-Star Game at Chase Field is quite literally the main event. Don’t miss history happening in your own backyard. And if you can’t afford to go to the game, head to downtown Phoenix and check out one of the many surrounding sports bars to get a pice of the action. It all starts at 8 pm.

Good Eats
Something else to look forward to? How about traditional baseball cuisine being served to thousands with All-Star Eats and the addition of a few south western inspired dishes. Yes, along with over 80,000 hot dogs and 750 gallons of sliced jalapenos, Chef Michael Snoke will be churning out some new eats for the crowds. Look forward to Snake Bites (spicy chicken taquitos) , Enchilada Dogs (a foot long hot dog filled with cheese and three types of chili) and The All-Star Summer Heater (a sandwich filled with Italian meats and topped with jalapeno-olive relish and pepper jack cheese) to drink with your ice cold brew.
District American Kitchen is also here for your All-Star needs. With $3 Microbrews and $5 cooling cocktails, this sounds like a place to swing by…get it?. The American Kitchen and Wine Bar has even created special drinks for the event including the Home Run Watermelon Cooler (picutred) and the Grand Slam Peach Margarita. Now don’t those sound like a home run?

Cowboy Mouth at the grand opening of Foundry on First - Check out the opening of Phoenix’s newest music venue and rock out with visitors, locals and baseball fans alike. Evan Longoria’s 2nd Annual All-Star Jam at The Mint – This event benefits the Phoenix Children’s Hospital and will feature a raffle giving away duffle bags filled with Nike goods. The event takes place Sunday, July 10 with doors opening at 8 pm.
If just the thought of being outside makes you sweat, try getting WET at W Scottsdale. The swanky pool will be hosting several pool shindigs in honor of the MLB event including Diamond in the Desert presented by Maxim on July 10.
