EAZ points out a must-attend wine dinner at Hotel Valley Ho with Chef Chuck Wiley, also pointing out how cool he is given the guy rides his motorcycle to work every day.   So what is in store for next Monday?

Join the happy and talented Chef Wiley as he welcomes his buddy Mark Lyon, the winemaker for Sebastiani Vineyards, for a special wine paired dinner in Cafe ZuZu on June 13 at 6:30pm. Check out the menu:

1) Copper River Salmon w/ grilled summer corn grits, red pepper confit

2) Duck Salad w/ tomato, tepary beans, pancetta, basil

3) Braised Kobe Beef Short Rib w/ roasted orange-scented fennel, baby turnips, shiitake mushroom stew

4) Chocolate Halvah Terrine w/ vanilla bean cream

Of course, Sebastiani wines will be paired with each course.  The dinner costs $52 per person (++). Call 480-421-7997 to make reservations. Of course, don’t ask Wiley how much he loves his life. You’ll just get pissed off.
