Just this morning we got notice that the roller coaster that was 944 is over.   Below is the letter received from their Executive Editor this morning.  These guys had one hell of a time going from one local Phoenix magazine to nearly a dozen editions, massive events and more controversy than we could certainly handle.  If you have any additional info please send our way.

To my friends and colleagues,

I was informed yesterday afternoon that after a long and crazy run, the June issue of 944 Magazine — which hits the streets today — will be its last. While this news does sadden me, I have enjoyed my time here and all the efforts we have put into pushing the boundaries and expectations of this book and its audience. I have been lucky enough to work with all of you as well as an incredible staff along the way, and I can never thank any of you enough for the experiences that have been bestowed upon me because that.

While I have yet to decide my next adventure, I’m looking forward to taking on new challenges in my professional life and I hope that means our paths will cross again in the future. Thank you again for everything, and please feel free to reach out to me for any reason.
