It’s Monday, which can mean only one thing, right? It’s time to party. Party like it’s your birthday. Party like it’s an invite-only shindig with an open bar (or three) and hosted inside Scottsdale’s most stylish showroom. Then, strut across the street to an exclusive after-party held inside Scottsdale’s most fashion-forward restaurant.
OK, just kidding. Who parties like that on a Monday? Everybody knows that’s more of a Tuesday thing.
Yes, this Tuesday, May 3, is the one-year anniversary of our transition from a print publication to a little web-thingie called Desert Living Today. (It’s a paperless paper anniversary, get it?) And we’re celebrating with a boozy blowout hosted at the super-sharp Design Within Reach studio in Downtown Scottsdale.
DJ William F’ing Reed will be there manning the wheels of steel, while those Asian-style artisans at Roka Akor will be serving up gourmet, chef-crafted nibbles. And did we mention the tasty tipples? The Valley’s own, CRUZ Tequila will be there cracking corks, as will the grape gurus from Arizona Stonghold Vineyards and Su Vino Winery.
Plus, we’ll also be revealing the winner of our first annual house beautiful contest, with the lucky homeowner to be splashed across the (virtual) pages of DLT. Finally, all guests will be invited to sashay across Scotttsdale Road to an after-party hosted at Fred’s inside Barneys New York, where the first glass of bubbly’s on us.
