Real Housewives of Scottsdale Is a Go (Or Not)

[Update] We just received a Tweet (pictured below) from Fox 10 producer, Emily Graham, asking Real Housewives head honcho, Andy Cohen, to confirm the rumor, and he wrote “No Truth.” So we’ll just have to see on this one.

Great scoop out of AZ Foothills, as it looks like the long-rumored “Real Housewives of Scottsdale” is coming to a TV screen near you. We’ve heard that the show will start filming this week at the VIP opening of the trendy DryBar hair salon in North Scottsdale. More important, the cast will feature local ladies-who-lunch such as Tina Majerle Dwyer (ex-wife of longtime Phoenix Suns star, Dan Majerle), Lori Citron, wife of anesthesiologist Gregg Citron, and Kim Lewin, pictured together a few years back at a private brunch inside Louis Vuitton at Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Starting in 2006 as the Real Housewives of Orange County, this hit show on Bravo has expanded to seven other markets, including New York, Atlanta, New Jersey and Miami. That said, the Scottsdale version is no surefire hit. After all, the Valley has seen its share of Reality TV fails, including Sunset Daze and The Will. The latter even stared former Scottsdale socialite/boutique owner, Penny Lane, who would have fit right in with her fellow housewives with her wacky personality, facelifted facade and marrying skills (lucky #4 was wealthy real estate developer, Bill Long Jr.) Alas, The Will lasted all of one episode on CBS, while Penny and her equally wacky and spotlight-loving son, Ashley, eventually moved back to Southern California after the closing their multiple Electric Ladyland boutiques.

This is hilarious!!!! I see that Tina Dwyer is gonna be on the real housewives of scottsdale, claiming that she is Dan Majerles wife! She is actually married to Mike Dwyer and I believe that Dan actually has a fiance. Dan divored her psychotic ass like six years ago! Pretty fuckin hilarious if you ask me. Should be a very eventful (drama filled) show.

This is soo true Katie Moore. I am friends with both Tina and Mike Dwyer and I heard she is going to be on the show. Although a friend of Tina, that woman is crazy. She is no longer married to Dan Majrle, he divorced her at least five years ago. But she has been obsessed with her ex ever since. What can Mike seriously think of this?! She obviously has his balls in a nutshell. Her claim to fame to being married to Dan Majrle and still tries to pretend like their still married. She also took her new husband house shopping (wanting a big new home for the show) and literally cried in the middle of the house in front of the realtor on three different occasions telling Mike she had to have this house and she was not going to leave until he said it was ok to buy it. She has some serious issues! She should bring some serious drama to the show which I am sure is what they want. She causes constant drama with her ex Dan Majrle and refuses to leave him alone. She even tries to tear her children away from their father, for which she is a horrible mother in that aspect. I think this whole city knows who the bad person is between Tina and her ex. She is the only one who does not get it!

You people are pathetic,you don’t have a clue. Firstly, look on public record and you’ll see that Tina was the petitioner and Dan was the respondant. That means that she divorced Dan, and because she was tired of protecting him from the media…after cops kept bring him home drunk as a skunk and driving his car into a tree and running from the scene..then she’d pick up the pieces again until she got fed up. As far as the kids, they got tired of watching their father spit on their mother when he was drunk. No such nonsense about the house…Mike loved it and she had to make changes to make it more like her style. Dan tried to reconcile with Tina and she wouldn’t have him back. By the way, I AM her realtor. Shame on you cats!!

Tina and Dan never had a shot at a successful marriage. They met when HER mom stalked Dan to show him a picture of her. I’m not saying Dan is a saint – believe me, he’s not. The way Tina uses her children to upset him is just plain wrong though. I’m not surprised she’s going to be on the show because she will tell her personal business to anyone and everyone. She will deliver major drama to the series but brace yourself for Raya. She’s sure to contribute. She’s a cokehead and quite possibly an alcoholic and thrives on attention.

ok here is the real deal…Dan cheated on Tina and she was a great wife. any “friend” of hers would never talk about her “lisa” is a fake, period. we all want the best for our families and with Tina and Mike they deliver. she doesn’t have to throw a fit to have a house…she could buy whatever she wants. she is quite the savoy business women underneath the look of a diva. we all have issues in life, however people love Tina. she is a tell it like it is women with a good heart. as far as dan goes, he digs his own grave. she has tried to help him be a better person and father. he is a victim of his own will. he has a choice to be a good father but instead chooses young tarts with no class and no intrest in his kids. poor choice dan. tina is who she is and those who talk behind her back are jealous that they dont have a part in her life and never will. the green eyed monster is all of you. get over yourself people the truth will prevail and you will all be eating your own words and frankly i hope you choke on them.

Interesting that Elle’s blog and Brian’s blog on another site talk about the same events. Ana’s right. She will tell her personal issues to anyone. It seams that Brian and Elle have the same purpose-to make Tina look great and Dan look bad. Dan has nothing to do with the show. If you read the blogs, people were commenting on Tina and how much they didn’t like her. Looks like Elle and Brian & a couple other have a vendetta against Dan since they’re smearing his name and trying to paint Tina as a great wife. Hmmm. who would do that? Elle says she’s Tina’s realtor. Her realtor has always been her mom or Tina herself. It’s Tina or her mom behind those blogs to smear Dan’s name and try to make her look wonderful!Sneaky. Interesting strategy but now what they wrote has no credibility.

You’re so right, Carol! Dan will not allow his kids to be exploited on this trashy show if it even makes it to the network. Tina promised a few big names in the valley and when they declined, she rounded up a group of women that nobody outside of her circle know. I think Bravo said “thanks, but no thanks.”

Dan layed sluts, I know cause my wife was one of them…now I am happily on my way to being divorced. She hated Tina cause he dumped her…a lot of girls hated Tina cause he chose her…too bad she didn’t know what he was really like. He had a great catch and he’s miserable cause he lost her.

I was and still am a friend of Dan’s and I know he whored around when Tina was home raising four kids, cause I was with him, so were his other friends, one married and whoring around too but he didn’t get cought. It was a great ride for all of us but I feel sorry for him now, he’s miserable, I know it and all his real friends know it. Sure it killed his ego when she divorced him and he justified it by saying bad shit about her, but that’s all it was..bad madeup shit. He tells me and everyone close to him he’s sorry now and wish he would have done it differently, he lost a great wife and family…and he is so mad about it like I said, he’s miserable.
These girls are probably his groupies that are still hanging on for a piece of his miserable ass. I’ll say he’s great to his friends, and everyone went along for the ride.

Tina has been riding his coattails for years and was obnoxious about it along the way. A very long time ago, she ordered something and the store policy was that shipping needed a contact phone number. Mind you, movie stars had no problem with the policy. First, I had no idea who she was, second, she seemed annoyed I didn’t know who she was and third, you would have thought I was asking for the code to nuclear bomb-and she threatened me if I gave the number out to anyone. Wow-a little self important…if she hadn’t made a big deal out of who she was I would never have know. Classless…

I went to high school with Tina and her brother. I remember how much her brother was into the Suns in high school, so I find it hilarious that Tina’s mom stalked Majerle with Tina’s picture. I’m a “regular Joe” who wouldn’t want to have these people’s lives for a billion dollars.
