Second Helpings

Speaking of cutesy consignment shops, we just discovered a new hotspot for foodie flip-flopping. Yes, Kitchen Switchin’ is a darling boutique specializing in high-end cookware and appliances. Housed inside a handsome old home in central Phoenix (so cute that we don’t even mind the kitschy missing ‘g’ on switching), it’s the perfect place to feed your inner foodie for less.

According to the Phoenix New Times“the idea was cooked up by Christa and Jim Kent, both of ArtGecko Productions, when Christa was cleaning out cupboards for a garage sale. The store is set up like the small house it once was, with an entertainment area, kitchenette, and even a playroom to keep kids busy while the adults shop.”

According to us, we have a new fav shop.

Kitchen Switchin is fabulous, loads of eccentiorc and everyday items from vintage to hard to find items. Greatest find was a marble morter and pestel for under $15. Perferct size, clean, open and very firendly.
