Calling all Valley foodies and urban hipsters (if that’s not completely redundant). Everybody’s fav dining gimmick, Cycle opens this weekend with not one, but two top local chefs crafting two completely different, if similar menus? Confused? Well read up quick, because the sign up for the first 30-person, reservation-only first dinner goes live today at 4 pm.

Long story short, Cycle is a temporary restaurant housed inside the Lexington Phoenix Hotel through the summer, when the property will undergo a wall-to-wall renovation. (Click here to learn more). In the meantime, the hotel’s owners have hired social-media scenester, Ty Largo, to create a little slice of foodie heaven featuring an ever-changing menu crafted by various local chefs and food truck purveyors. Still with us? Good, because this Friday’s kickoff shindig looks like a blast.

Here are the savory scraps. Pedal on by this Friday from 4-6 pm for Happy Hour specials, and then knock back some spicy Asian nibbles served street-side right out of the Hey Joe Filipino Street Food truck.

Plus, famed pastry diva, chef Tracy Dempsey will be on-hand serving up a special limited-seating, reservations online only dinner for the first 30 people who sign up here.

Or as the press release states, “Log on and reserve one of the 30 exclusive seats available for Tracy Dempsey’s sweet & savory small bites menu. (All priced at $7 each). Seriously. 30 portions of six paper-plated dishes. That’s it. If you’re not in the club, you’re out. Or at least you miss out on Salmon Rillettes, Lisa G.’s meatballs, Tender Belly Bacon & Gruyere Tarts, S’mores Cupcakes, Cookies and Lemon Tarts.”
