It’s pretty, it’s pink, it’s perfect for a hot day. Enjoy this caipirinha (pronunciation anyone?) while relaxing, preferably during happy hour on St. Francis’s lovely patio. A bit complex to make at home what with the basil infused simple-syrup and all; and don’t worry, we also had to Google Leblon Cachaca.
2 whole strawberries (muddled)
3 lime wedges (muddled)
1 basil leaf (torn)
1 oz basil-infused simple syrup
2 oz Leblon Cachaca
Muddle strawberries, limes and torn basil. Combine all ingredients into a martini shaker, shake. Pour mixture (with ice) into a bucket glass and garnish with the other half of the torn basil.
