Scottsdale DUI suspect, Coco Crisp (at left) hanging with Charlie 'WINNING' Sheen

Hello fellow gossip lovers. We’re back with a juicy Scoop on one of Charlie Sheen’s BFFs (OK, acquaintances) who was just busted for DUI in Scottsdale. In case you missed it, Oakland A’s baseball player, Coco Crisp was arrested early Wednesday morning in on suspicion of drunk driving in his $400,000 Rolls Royce.

And as we’ve exclusively confirmed, Crisp and his boys were knocking back bottles of Grey Goose and Patron earlier that night in the VIP section at Smashboxx, a trendy nightclub in Downtown Scottsdale. Just another day in the home of the nation’s strictest DUI laws, right?

Well, it turns out that Crisp was recently pictured hanging out with Charlie ‘Tiger’s Blood’ Sheen, and they’d even exchanged phone numbers so they could hangout again, Crisp told TMZ.

So, let’s hear more about that Charlie ‘WINNING’ Sheen connection? Well, as seen above, Coco and Charlie met recently at one of Sheen’s funniest meltdowns, when he showed up at the UCLA baseball team’s practice and told everyone to “Stay off the crack. Drink a chocolate milk,” according to TMZ. Later Crisp told the same Hollywood news site that they exchanged phone numbers and planned to hang out.

Well, it looks like these two would get along swimmingly based upon a first person account of Crisp’s night at Smashboxx that we’ve exclusively obtained. “It was crazy, because we had a table right next to those guys. [Crisp] was drinking there. Everyone was. They had bottle of Goose and Patron, and they were all really big and buff. I think they were all baseball players. It was wild. All the girls were loving it,” said Smashboxx patron Chad Staples.

Meanwhile, we just hung up with Smashboxx’s Marketing Director & Partner, Chad Landau, who confirmed that Crisp was at this week’s Vicious Industry Tuesdays, but would not comment as to whether the sports star was drinking. “Yes, [Crisp] was at Smashboxx, but we can’t confirm that he was drinking. We protect all of our high-end clientele, and while it’s an unfortunate situation, we wish him the best.”

According to AZ Central, Scottsdale police stopped the MLB player at about 2:15 am Wednesday near 73rd St and Indian School Rd. “He was observed failing to stay in one lane of traffic … the officer observed signs of intoxication on the driver … After Mr. Crisp agreed to, and performed, field sobriety tests, he was arrested without further incident,” said Scottsdale PD said in written statement.
