Scoop Factory is finally ready to come out of the closet. They are day-drinkers, dammit, and they don’t care who knows it:
For years, us day drinkers lived in the shadows. Sure, no one looked astray when we sipped the occasional mimosa at brunch or knocked back a few cold ones at the football tailgate party. However, for some reason people continue to insist that sipping and sunlight are mutually exclusive. Oh how the tables have turned, as dayclubs are now the hottest trend in nightlife.
Already an institution at New York hotspots such as Bagatelle in New York’s Meatpacking District, the so-called ‘dayclub’ phenomenon recently landed in Las Vegas with the High Society party (pictured). Hosted every Sunday inside the posh new Nove Italiano supper club at the Palms Casino Resort, this dayclub combines feasting and fêting in a single pretty package. Here, patrons enjoy live entertainment such as roaming musicians and an on-site painter offering complimentary tableside portraits, all while soaking in the skyline views from the restaurant’s 51st-floor perch. 702-942-6800
Back in the Valley, Tempe’s Caffe Boa is also getting in on the day-drinking trend with its new Indulj party. Hosted by Brendon Medugno Entertainment and held every Saturday, enjoy a boffo Italian brunch handcrafted by chef Payton Curry. Wash it all down with nightclub-style bottle service or, wait for it, bottomless mimosas for only $18. Plus, enjoy live DJ music and shuttle service to and from Scottsdale’s The Lodge, another day-drinking favorite. 398 S. Mill Ave., 480-968-9112
