In Need of Reed

January 28, 2011 | 11:15 AM | Sound | By Staff

If you haven’t been reading DJ William F-ing Reed’s The Mix Tape every Friday here on DLT, you’re missing out. Like, seriously missing out. As one of the Valley’s true music movers-and-shakers, he pumps our ears full of noteworthy indie artists such as Best Coast, Neon Indian, Caribou and The Naked & Famous. And now you can catch Professor (he teaches “Artist Management & Talent Development” at Mesa Community College) F-ing Reed every Friday from 10pm-midnight on KWSS 106.7 with his new radio show Live Transmission.

Reed says, “I’m truly excited to be back on the air, especially when so many stations have transitioned to a mainstream format.” Check it out, because if you can’t make the weekly dance party Sticky Fingers (where Reed is also a resident spinner), your bedroom or car is the next best spot.
