Fox Hunting

As promised, our sister publication, Scoop Factory has all the delicious deets on Sam Fox’s latest hotspot:

Hello Scoopers. “Enough of the nostalgic architecture posts,” you say. Give us something savory, piping hot and insider-only. Well try this one on for size. We’ve learned that a certain famed Valley food-dude is quietly constructing a new restaurant in the heart of the Arcadia/PV/Biltmore areas.

Turns out, this former car wash at 40th Street and Camelback will actually be Sam Fox‘s latest location of his popular Italian eatery,NoRTHZucca Chips, anyone? Located in the heart of the always-hopping LGO/Postino/Vig/The Grind restaurant row, we’re guessing there will be extensive window walls, and maybe a second floor, to take advantage of those million dollar Camelback Mountain views.

We’d give you more details, but those notoriously tight-lipped folks at Fox Restaurant Concepts have so-far ignored our (stalker-level) phone blitz. But trust us on this one, no one is going to the trouble of knocking down and then constructing an all-new car wash. And combined with the revamped Vincent on CamelbackThe Grind‘s new rotisserie chicken spinoff and the still-popular, Chelsea’s Kitchen, and it seems that the unofficial title of ‘Valley’s hottest culinary corner’ has shifted a few miles north.

How about getting us more answers like who is taking over old Houstons space? And Picazzo’s Pizzeria lasted only a blink of eye, who is next there? How about doing a little local poll for “who should move in”?
