Whole lotta Bristol Palin news lately. The latest is that the 20-year-old celebutante will be starting at ASU next semester. Yes, the somewhat-reliable news gathering operation, TMZ is reporting that Sarah Palin’s daughter has been telling friends she’ll register for college after moving into her new home in Maricopa, AZ, and several signs point toward the Sun Devils.
According to TMZ, Bristol’s new spread is, “just miles from the Arizona State University school of broadcasting … a school that boasts one of the most state-of-the-art facilities in the country. Bristol has expressed an interest in public speaking.”
Well, it’s true that ASU Downtown has some amazing facilities, but we wouldn’t describe Maricopa as “just miles” from anything.
Meanwhile, TMZ also says ASU is perfect for Palin because the school famously refused to give President Obama an honorary degree last May after he gave the commencement speech at graduation. (Although they do now offer a scholarship program named after the Prez.)
It all sounds like the makings of a bad Reality TV show. Maybe former CNN anchor and current ASU prof, Aaron Brown, could be the host?
