As first revealed by DLT‘s The Rumorist, Twilight star, Kristen Stewart has been spotted vamping around the Valley. She shut down the MercBar on Monday, and dropped by the D’Back’s game on Tuesday. Sinkholes in Sedona are one thing. But don’t you dare mess with our fav summertime getaway. Yes, while the Valley shivers its way through a nasty cold streak, San Diego is still recovering from weeks of rain and flooding. Whole lotta Bristol Palin news lately. The latest is that the 20-year-old celebutante will be starting at ASU next semester. Yes, the somewhat-reliable news gathering operation, TMZ is reporting that Sarah Palin’s daughter has been telling friends she’ll register for college after moving into her new home in Maricopa, AZ, and several signs point toward the Sun Devils.
Sad news out of St. Louis, as a 27-year-old woman said to be the girlfriend of beer baron, August Busch IV, was found dead of a suspected overdose inside his mansion. The ex CEO of Anheuser-Busch, Busch is an heir to the $3 billion Budweiser brewing fortune. However, before becoming the face of the company in 2006, Busch was better known as a bit of a wild child, leading St. Louis police on a high-speed chase in his Mercedes before having his tires shot out by pursuing officers. (When they realized whom they had been chasing, they installed his spare tire.) He was later acquitted of assault.
Meanwhile, longtime Tucson residents better know Busch as the former University of Arizona student who may have got away with murder after crashing his Corvette after drinking at a bar.
Quick, can you name the Valley’s richest resident? (Hint: he had a very Goodyear.)
So, the annual Forbes 400 list of the richest people in America recently hit the (digital) newsstand. And as usual, a sprinkling of Valley residents made the cut, including a billboard baron, a soup scion and couple of Phoenix’s. But one rubber-burning royal left them all in in the dust.
Leave it to Larry David to make tax policy hilarious. Yes, the star of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and co-creator of “Seinfeld,” who’s rumored to worth $800M, has weighed in on the debate surrounding the extension of tax breaks for America’s richest citizens with an appropriately sarcastic (and exclamation point filled) opinion piece in the NY Times. Highlights include: “After years of coveting them, I’ll finally be able to afford blueberries. Did you know they have a lot of antioxidants, which prevent cancer? Cancer! This tax cut just might save my life. Who said Republicans don’t support health care?”

Yes, Bristol Palin, the 20-year-old daughter of governor, politician, Reality TV star/author/bloviator, Sarah Palin, has bought a home in Maricopa.
What’s next, we’ll find out that Mama Palin bought that 154-acre mountaintop estate that was up for auction in Maricopa? Or that Bristol is joining Sheriff Joe’s Anti-Immigration Posse?
