RIP Leslie Nielsen: Don’t Call Him Shirley

Famed Hollywood funnyman and longtime Valley resident, Leslie Nielsen passed away yesterday at the age of 84. A native of Canada, Nielsen first found success as a serious actor, he played the captain in the original The Poseiden Adventure, before relaunching his career as a comedian with his classic doctor role in 1980′s, Airplane! Or as fellow comedian, Russell Brand just Tweeted, “RIP Leslie Nielsen. Shirley, he will be missed.”
