The Weekender: Pumpkin Pie Martini

November 25, 2010 | 12:00 PM | Restaurants | By Staff

If champagne, wine and three shots of vodka aren’t quite enough to get you through Thanksgiving (we know, Aunt Mildred is driving you crazy) whip up a batch of these and everyone will be singing Kumbaya within minutes. Recipe and prep is below, but forewarning, as almost 100% alcohol this ain’t for the weak at heart (aka Aunt Mildred). If you’re lucky enough to escape the fam, head on over to Cadillac Ranch where they have a killer Pumpkin Pie Martini on the menu. Happy kill and eat a bird Turkey day!

Ingredients:
1/2 oz Stoli Vanilla (optional to give it a kick, but really-it’s necessary)
1 oz pumpkin spice liqueur (Hiram Walker)
1/2 oz Kahlua
1/2 0z half-and-half
Crushed graham crackers
Cinnamon stick (garnish)

Prep:
Add all liquids in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into graham cracker rimmed martini glass. Garnish with cinnamon stick.
