Bring your drinking hats and leave the beer novices at home for this “extremley entertaining, not for amateurs, fundraiser and party.” Yes, it’s going to be a long night of boozin’ for brains (literally). Created by Louis Dolgoff (pictured) in memory of his wife, the Beer for Brains Foundation is hosting a hop-filled fundraiser on Saturday, October 2 to benefit The Barrow Brain Tumor Research Center in Phoenix. Why you might have to warn your friends of the drunk dials/texts they might receive by this fundraiser after the jump! Named the 2010 Off-Centered Experience, this boozy benefit will be held at Scottsdale Plaza Resort from 5:30-10:30 pm. Tix are on sale now here for a donation of $75 to the research center, and includes full-access to all craft beers, a souvenir glass and commemorative drinking hat. (Hat-mounted cup holders and mouth straws not included).
Meanwhile, true beer snobs connoisseurs will want to step your partying up to the next level and donate $150 for full-access to all craft and specialty beers, as well as unlimited munchies. RSVP asap, this VIP offer is only available to the first 100 donators. Dogfish Head Craft Brewing (where Dogloff is the promotions manager), Port Brewing, Three Floyds Brewery (all the way from Munster, Indiana), Devil’s Back Bone Brewing Company and several other breweries from around the nation will be donating kegs for attendees to fill their souvenir beer mug over and over again.
