This October 3, honor local first-responders at the 10th Annual Behind the Flames: A Heroes Dinner. Held inside the sumptuous Estate House restaurant in Downtown Scottsdale, proceeds will benefit the Scottsdale Firefighters’ Charities, as well as the American Cancer Society and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. A cocktail hour and silent auction will precede the 6 – 10 pm gourmet feast. Cocktails, anyone?

Host for the evening, ABC 15‘s Christina Boomer, will announce the Firefighter of the Year recipient and the Valley’s Young Hero award, nominated by Phoenix Children’s Hospital, during the charity event. There will also be an auction featuring Barrett-Jackson VIP packages and sports memorabilia starting at 4:30 pm. Finally, local artists will be joining the celebration of heroes with an art walk outside the event.
