As the saying goes, once is an event, twice is a coincidence, third time’s a trend. A few weeks back we broke the news that FOX 10′s Alexis DelChiaro was flying the coop for destinations unknown. Well, now we’ve got the scoop on her new nest, which she’ll be sharing with a couple of fellow former Phoenix newscasters.

Yes, DelChiaro is reporting on her blog that she’ll be KUSI San Diego‘s new weekend morning anchor and weekday morning reporter. Sound familiar? KUSI is also the new home to former 3TV comedian weatherman, Brad Perry. And furthering the Phoenix-to-San-Diego pipeline, fellow 3TV cast-off, Russ Shimabuku, is now covering sports for FOX 5 San Diego.
