We we’re just saying, if there’s one thing this town needs, it’s another taco shop. Details are sketchy, but it looks like another restaurateur is looking to stuff our stomachs with some upscale Mexican food.

Named El Hefe ( a play off ‘El Jefe” the Spanish term meaning “The Chief or the Boss”), the restaurant’s webpage promises a “Super Macho Taqueria.” So there’s that. Located just across the street from the Pussy Cat Lounge, Axis/Radius, et al, and open until 2 am seven night a week, we’re guessing this will quickly become the place for post-bar pig outs.
