DLT’s The Rumorist

August 30, 2010 | 1:45 PM | Art & Entertainment | By Staff

Calling all gossip girls and dirty laundry-loving dudes, it’s DLT’s column dedicated to the Valley’s juiciest rumors, spottings and innuendos. Check in regularly for the latest (unconfirmable), but too-good-to-not-be true tidbits.

Today we’ve got a Scottsdale dining dish that’s hot off the grill. Looks like the long-planned Samurai Cowboy project in Downtown Scottsdale is kaput. But fear not, fearless foodies. Turns out the owners (Stingray, Drift, Geisha A Go Go) are simply going in a new direction.

The new restaurant will be named, Jimmy Woo’s and will feature a modern Chinese vibe. Details are still sketchy, but look for an opening (finally) in late October or early November.

Got a tip for us, or spotted someone famous or even infamous floating around the Valley? Email us
