Must be slow news day (or someone at the “Today Show” was extra hungry) because this national newscast devoted an entire segment to revealing the results of an online fast food survey. Led by the famed food-reviewers at Zagat, the results are shockingly non-shocking: McDonald’s has the best fries, KFC the best fried chicken, Long John Silvers (Long John Silvers!) has the best fish-like food nuggets.
Perhaps the only surprise is that Five Guys out-burgered perennial favorite, In-N-Out when it came to the large chain category. Founded in Virginia in 1986, this 500-unit burger shop recently expanded to Arizona with a storefront on Tempe’s Mill Ave. However, we’re not quite ready to ready to hand over our Double-Double animal-style. What say you, AZ?
