Here at DLT, we know all too well the stresses of being a high-powered triathlete. I mean, surfing the Web, pounding out stories, clicking publish—it’s pretty exhausting. All kidding aside, training for a triathlon is a heck of a way to get in shape. Enter the Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain‘s three-day Triathlon Prep Program, headed by a team of award-winning Olympians, it’s perfect for those looking to mix up their body-aching workouts with a little spa-pampering bliss.
The Sanctuary’s Triathlon Prep Program offers a mix of intensive core training with three days focused on each of the race’s three activities – swimming, biking and running – in addition to a medley of spa treatments including a 90 min. Thai Table Massage that’ll stretch, pull, and knead your muscles after your training beat-up.
Three nights accomodations, an energizing daily breakfast and three spa treatments (including the Thai Table massage) designed to replenish your body’s strength are all offered in the package.
And to top it all off, you’ll be receiving some advice from guys who know a thing or two about competing in stressful athletic competitions: gold medal Olympic swimmer and the Sanctuary’s head swimming coach, Misty Hyman, running guru Olympian Mike Schneider and the resort’s own cycling expert, Kara Thomas.
To reserve your spot call 800-245-2051.
The program is available starting Sept. 10 and runs until May 16, 2011.
