Happy National Cheesecake Day!

July 30, 2010 | 2:14 PM | Restaurants | By Meghan Luther

Today is National Cheesecake Day and The Cheesecake Factory is celebrating “30 Delicious Years of Fattening Americans with Ridiculous Portion Sizes” by offering guests any slice for half price. Furthermore, TCF will debut its newest cheesecake, Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake (Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups + fudge cake + caramel + cheesecake + graham cracker crust).

For every slice of Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake sold over the next year, 25 cents will be donated to Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization. So…Overindulge for the sake of hunger and malnutrition? Mmmkay.

Meanwhile, for a more authentic NY-style cheesecake, check out the Arizona Cheesecake Bakery.
